An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join our team in Suki Teahouse Ltd, a growing Belfast company with strong ethics, that values their TEAm members, and, all working together, produces big leaf, big flavour, and best quality teas selling to the UK, Ireland and throughout the world. 

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will provide an accurate and timely accounts administration function within the company including:

• Maintaining the Purchase Ledger / Sales Ledger
• Cashiering including bank reconciliations
• Invoicing and Statements
• Month End Procedures including stock take
• Credit Control
• Collating data for reporting on financial results
• General financial administrative support
• Any other duties within reason and capability as determined by management

Essential Criteria:

• 5 GCSEs grade C or above,  or equivalent (to include Maths & English)
• At least 2 years’ recent experience, working in a Finance role

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience of computerised accounting package, SAGE Line 50
• Have a relevant formal qualification in the area of Finance
• Experience working within a commercial financial background

Essential Behaviours:

• A strong communicator and good team player
• Experience in using and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Evidence of good organisational skills with strong attention to detail essential
• Ability to work flexibly to ensure business needs are met
