As Technical Sales Rep your job will be primarily field based, covering all of Ireland (NI & ROI). The main aim of the role is to promote natural ventilation and natural cooling products by visiting existing and potential customers and specifiers. This will involve arranging customer visits, product presentations, discussing potential projects, and liaising with clients throughout the design and specification process. 
Product specific training will be provided, but the ideal candidate will already have experience in the building services sector and be familiar with the construction design and specification process.
Detailed Duties & responsibilities:
  • Promote and increase awareness of key products at a technical level with Architects, Consultants, Local Authorities, End Users, Specifiers and Contractors
  • Develop structured & targeted plans by customer sector & region.
  • Arrange daily appointments & follow up calls in line with agreed plans
  • Actively seek out new project enquiries and opportunities.
  • Develop new CRM leads using research tools including Barbour ABI construction database
  • Update CRM system with details of visits, enquiries and calls on a daily basis
  • Provide customer support on live contracts as required
  • Attend exhibitions, conferences, supplier training, etc. on an infrequent basis.
  • General sales related admin.

Considered Criteria:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity applicants must be able to demonstrate that they fulfil the essential criteria
  • 2+ years experience in a field sales role, with proven track record of generating enquiries and successful conversion rates of quotations to orders.
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings and visualise in 3-dimensions
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Sound commercial acumen, including strong negotiating skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Valid UK/EU Driving Licence (max 3 penalty points)
Should a large number of application be received we will also consider the following desirable qualities:
  • 3rd level educated in an engineering discipline (equivalent experience may be considered)
  • Experience of the construction tendering processes
  • Understanding of ventilation systems & related building regulations
