Operations Support Manager

Full time – 37.5 hours per week

Annual Salary £38,618 plus great benefits including 8% non contributory pension

Location – Remote /Centre based/Hybrid

 

At Fire Fighters Charity, we are here to help all serving and retired member of the UK’s fire family to live healthier and happier lives. 

It is important we optimise our capacity and this role will be responsible for the occupancy management of residential beds and virtual care capacity across the services directorate. By ensuring efficient utilisation of our resources, we can deliver more services to those who require our support and this role is key to us achieving that.

Reporting into the Director of Business Development, Estates and Facilities and collaborating closely with colleagues across the charity, this role will provide oversight to ensure bed management systems are efficient and aligned with charity goals, workflows support operational excellence and a high standard of service is delivered across the organisation.

To be successful in this role you will have:

·       experience working within a health or social care setting, with demonstrable experience in bed management, service user flow or related area

·       experience maintaining accurate and confidential records, ensuring compliance with data protection

·       experience in data analysis and interpretation to inform resource allocation decisions

·       proven experience in operations, administration or business support role

·       ability to analyse complex data, identify trends and make informed decisions regarding resource allocation

·       a solution focussed approach, with strong organisational skills

·       strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, at all levels.

·       Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM / Case Management systems
