Dale Farm is a leading dairy company supplying a wide range of consumer and food ingredients dairy products including fresh milk, cheeses, milk powders, butter & dairy spreads, and ice cream into the UK, Irish and international markets.

Core to our success is our people, and we now have an exciting part-time opportunity within our Transactional Finance team, based at our Head Office site in Belfast.

About the Role

As a Transactional Finance Assistant, you will be a key member of the team and your core responsibilities will be to provide support across the department, mainly within Accounts Payable & Billing.

Your key duties will include:

  • Processing vendor invoices using drag and drop tool.
  • Vendor statement reconciliations.
  • Liaising with purchasing managers across the business to resolve queries from vendors.
  • Setting-up of new customers and vendors on a timely basis ensuring all required fields are completed.
  • Calculation of agreed rebates to customers and distribution of same.
  • Running monthly creditors listings and formulate report for aged balances.
  • Setting up of new vendors in line with due diligence process.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing potential improvements to processes and procedures.
  • Any other duties as required in Transactional Finance.

This role is on a part-time basis (21 hours per week).

About You

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role in a high-volume environment. You should also have Intermediate or Advanced knowledge of Excel. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and self-motivated team player with good attention to detail.
