General Purpose
Due to Rapid growth, we are now seeking an experienced project manager where you will oversee and manage the successful planning, implementation, and completion of projects related to electric vehicle infrastructure. Their primary goal is to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of projects that involve the installation, operation, and maintenance of EV charging stations and associated infrastructure.
The project manager will be responsible for coordinating and leading cross-functional teams, managing project timelines and resources, and ensuring that project objectives are met within budgetary constraints. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Key Accountabilities
  • Developing comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Allocating and managing project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure effective utilisation and project efficiency.
  • Collaborating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to establish strong working relationships, manage expectations, and ensure project requirements are understood and met.
  • Identifying and assessing potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project progress is not hindered by unforeseen challenges.
  • Monitoring project costs, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Implementing quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications. 
  • Identify and manage project risks, developing risk mitigation strategies. 
  • Conduct regular project reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Facilitating effective communication among project team members and stakeholders, providing regular project updates and progress reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and implementing measures to protect the well-being of project team members and stakeholders.
  • Managing changes in project scope, objectives, or timelines, and evaluating their potential impact on the project's success.
  • Conducting post-project evaluations to assess project performance, identify areas for improvement, and capture lessons learned for future projects.

Essential Criteria
  • Must have proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in energy Infrastructure, manufacturing, construction, technology implementation or similar relevant industry.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, organising, and monitoring project activities.
  • Excellent team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks accordingly.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Desirable Criteria
  • Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2).
  • Knowledge of electric vehicle infrastructure and charging technologies.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.

We are an Electrical Vehicle Solutions company based in Belfast with investment in a public Electrical Vehicle (EV) charging network infrastructure throughout Northern Ireland. We aim to have in the region of 1500 charging stations installed across a vast array of over 300+ locations including a number of major ultra-rapid charging hub sites that will see drivers able to fully “top up” their vehicles in less than 20 minutes.
