Brayleys Cars are one of the leading privately owned automotive retail groups in the Southeast.  Operating across The Home Counties, The Thames Valley, Greater London, and Essex Brayleys represent some of the worlds leading vehicle and motorcycle manufacturers.  At the heart of our business lies our Dealer Management System (DMS), Autoline Drive from Keyloop.

To support our journey towards greater digitisation and automation across our businesses we are recruiting a Group DMS manager.  This role forms part of our key business development strategy and is critical to the planned expansion of our group over the coming years.

The range of this exciting role is wide and varied.  You’ll need to be a great communicator at all levels in our business from our newest apprentices right through to our Managing Director and Board of Directors in the UK.

The ideal candidate will already be well versed in Keyloop systems and have a head for business process alignment with the capabilities of our DMS systems.

The dynamic wide-ranging demands of an automotive retailer mean that no two days will be the same.  To put that into context the main areas of responsibility this exciting role covers are:

  • Daily Autoline-DRIVE System Housekeeping Activities
  • Maintaining User Access and Permissions Control to the system
  • First line support for all DMS matters for Brayleys users
  • Key contact point Keyloop support for 2nd line escalations
  • Key Contact Point with Keyloop Account Management
  • Maintenance of all franchise data, RTS codes, posting tables etc
  • Ensuring all Brayleys users are maximising the capabilities of all aspects of the system.
  • Refining the setup of the system
  • Production of reporting data for management
  • Maintenance of Campaign Management within CRM
  • Creation of bespoke reporting as required.
  • Training new staff (physically / virtually) on system use, to supplement Keyloop training programme
  • Critical review of all business operating activities, to make best use of the system investment and delivery process efficiencies.
  • Management of all DMS related projects current & future including
  1. Discovery/Fact Finding/Scoping/Implementation Management/Induction to Staff to new systems.
  2. Ongoing New Business acquisitions / integration and roll out of DRIVE.
  3. Complete the roll out of Sales Docs (Idealfile) electronic deal files.
  4. Roll out of Service Docs – digital paperless POS system.
  5. Roll out of integrated online service booking system.
  6. Support the development of our BI system which is fully integrated with Drive.

What skills would be ideal for this role?

  • Most importantly you’ll need a good understanding of all aspects of an automotive retail business.
  • A Strong background with Kerridge/CDK/Keyloop DMS, ideally DRIVE, would be an advantage.
  • Ex Keyloop Consultant would ideal and to help support a transition into automotive retail additional training will be arranged on areas of the system where the successful candidate lacks detailed knowledge as part of our on-boarding process.
  • You’ll need to be highly motivated, with strong attention to detail, a resilient self-starter, who is able to demonstrate outstanding completer/finisher skills.
  • Being a fantastic team player goes without saying.
  • We can offer hybrid working.  To put that in context you will be expected to visit our sites regularly to support the teams in our dealerships too.
  • With all that driving you will need to have 6 or fewer penalty points on your driving license
