We are currently recruiting for experienced cooks to join our team.  We are on the lookout for cooks that are on a constant pursuit of quality standards and take pride in their meals, creating menus with flair and possessing commitment to preparing and serving a variety of delicious meals to our patients, clients, staff and visitors.

Our ideal candidate will meet the following essential criteria:

  • 1 years cooking experience working within a commercial catering/Health care facility and hold a NVQ Level 1 & 2 in Catering or City and Guilds 706/1 plus 706/2 or equivalent

OR

3 years cooking experience working within a commercial catering/Health care facility.

  • CIEH Level 2 Food safety.
  • Knowledge of Food Hygiene Practices and HACCP
  • Menu planning experience
  • Knowledge of appropriate waste control

Ard-Na-Grainde is a family run Private Residential Care Home.  The home is registered with the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA) to provide residential care for 19 Residents who require either short term respite or long term care. 

The home is situated in the countryside.  However, it is conveniently located off the Moneynick Road, which has close links to the M2 Motorway.

Ard-na-Grainde Residential Care Home prides itself in offering a highly professional care service for the elderly, with a personal touch.
