Warehouse Operations Manager – Evening Shift

Permanent | Antrim

Salary – £30,000 + (depending upon experience ). Plus, annual performance based bonus payable.

The Role

Frasers Group are currently looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager (evening Shift) based in the Retail Distribution Centre, Antrim.  The Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for evening shift operations primarily retail store order assembly and product pricing.

Reporting directly to the Head of Distribution and part of the wider warehouse management team; supporting the logistics services provided to the Sports Direct and Frasers retail stores in Ireland.  This role is critical to support accurate replenishment of sales product to stores in a timely manner to optimise potential sales. The successful applicant will manage a team of 70+ staff; maximise team efficiency and effectiveness through performance appraisals, training etc. Manage individual compliance to company policies and operational requirements and absence and holidays in line with company requirements

The successful candidate will meet the following Essential Criteria:

• Grade C or above in GCSE Math’s & English (or equivalent)
• A minimum of one years management experience in an operational role within warehousing, production or retail
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at individual and group level.
• People management skills including the ability to motivate, coach and develop
• Computer literate and able to work with all Microsoft Office Applications in addition to using bespoke company equipment & systems.
• Experience of working to deadlines and targets, including productivity improvement.
• Proven ability to analyse data and problem solve.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Criteria

• Minimum of 5 GSCE passes grade ‘C’ or above or equivalent.
• Previous management experience gained within a Retail Distribution Environment within the last 5 years.
• Valid forklift licence
• Manual Handling Certificate

Hours of work:         

1.30pm to 11.00pm Monday to Friday, however, a degree of flexibility may occasionally be required.
