Hours of work:   Monday to Friday 37.5hrs per week

Location:            Hybrid working – must be able to travel to Huddersfield once a week

Salary:                £60k per annum, including an attractive benefits package.

Working in partnership with BeyondHR, UKCaravans4hire are seeking to appoint a Head of Guest Marketing to join the growing team.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Divisional CEO, and responsible for the Guest Marketing Team (once established and built) the Head of Guest Marketing to lead the marketing strategy for the brand and to drive bookings and revenue on behalf of our caravan owners

In particular, the Head of Guest Marketing will be responsible for:

  • Recruiting, retaining and developing a high-performing Guest marketing team
  • Craft a winning, scalable guest marketing strategy which optimises marketing channels to ensure that revenue targets are met at a suitable ROI
  • Build the brand of UKcaravans4hire to become the leading booking platform for static caravan holidays
  • Championing the customer – utilising data, profiling and segmentation and other research methodologies to ensure deep understanding of our customers.
  • Planning the high level, end to end, marketing strategy & campaigns and developing those strategies to maximise ROI – through ongoing test and learn to refine performance.
  • Budgeting & forecasting of guest marketing activity, including regular performance updates to the senior management team
  • Organising and focusing the team to always align with the business priorities
  • Working in an agile way to efficiently plan campaigns and automations at scale
  • Liaise with external marketing providers where required

The successful candidate will meet the following Essential Criteria:

  • Proven and experienced marketing manager with an excellent working knowledge across the full marketing mix.
  • Creative, inspiring, developing and managing a high performing team in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled in stakeholder management
  • Horizon scanning to identify opportunities
  • Ability to balance innovation and practicality
  • Commercially minded, naturally inquisitive and focused on data/performance optimisation
  • Interpreting, reporting and explaining results
  • Eye for detail and happy to roll your sleeves up, but also lift and elevate to provide direction.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in the UK travel sector and/or detailed knowledge of UK holiday park industry
  • Expertise in optimisation of online digital marketing channels, including PPC & SEO or similar
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Marketing qualification (degree or similar)
