Cleaner 16- 20 hrs per week 9am-1pm

Reports to:                           Manager

Purpose

To maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in all public and staff areas.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of all bar areas internal and external, staff areas and all toilets located on the premises
• Correct use of all cleaning equipment and materials
• Checking for any health and safety issues that may prove harmful to the public and/or staff
• To ensure that a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance is maintained at all times
• Any other duties relevant and related to the post

Educational qualifications

• Educated to secondary level standard

Skills and Experience

• No previous experience necessary
• An understanding of COSSH and its procedures is desirable
• The ideal candidate will be a team player with an enthusiastic outlook and the desire to ensure that the premises are presented to the highest standard
• With good communication skills, the ideal candidate will be able to approach their work in a methodical and logical manner
• Good attention to detail is essential
