As part of our growing technology team, we need a strong Senior Project Manager to help us run our ambitious application development projects.

The Senior Project Manager will take overall responsibility for the delivery of new projects and the success maintenance and enhancement of existing applications. The role involves creating and tracking quality project plans and managing both the delivery and operations teams’ time to deliver projects to agreed timescales.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working with the Zymplify Chief Technology Officer to build robust project planning processes.
• Defining the scope and goals for each project.
• Planning and scheduling project timelines.
• Creating quality, realistic project plans for each application development release.
• Managing the day-to-day activities of the Application Development and Operations Project Managers and Lead Technical Staff.
• Liaising with the test manager to test and provide Quality Assurance for each release.
• Applying the appropriate project management measurements to report on the success of the project.
• Manage project Issues and Risks.
• Managing project administration, including all documentation.
• Meeting budgetary objectives.
• Reporting regularly to senior management.

• Experience of setting up an Application Development Project.
• Experience of team leading and project tracking.
• Experience of being a key part of a management team.

• Impeccable attention to detail.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
• Six to ten years of experience in Project Management along with associated Project Management.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments and database technologies.
