As part of our growing technology team, we need a strong Test Manager to help us establish robust test processes and manage these processes both for new developments and in supporting amendments and fixes to the existing applications.

The Test Manager takes responsibility for the project’s success. The role involves quality & test advocacy, resource planning & management, and resolution of issues that impede the testing effort.

Job Responsibilities

  • Working with the Zymplify Chief Technology Officer to build robust test processes.
  • Building up and leading the Testing Team in both new application developments and application maintenance.
  • Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release.
  • Deploying and managing resources to support full testing.
  • Applying the appropriate test measurements to report on testing success.

Work Hours & Benefits: 
We expect you to follow a 37-hour week, working from home or from our Head Office in Portstewart, Northern Ireland. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and opportunities for technical growth.

Test Manager Qualifications/Skills:

  • Strong experience in all aspects of Application Testing.
  • Experience of setting up an Application Test environment.
  • Experience of team leading and project planning.
  • Understanding of relational data modelling.
  • Understanding of PHP application development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in application testing.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments.
  • Experience with database technologies (MySQL in particular).
  • Experience with programming (PHP) and APIs.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services.
