Do you have:

• Experience in purchasing & managing stock
• Exceptional organisational skills
• Good analytical and IT skills with competence in using Excel
• Effective negotiation skills
• Good interpersonal and communications skills

Key duties include:

• Raising purchase orders and placing orders with suppliers whilst seeking opportunities to improve purchase price
• Reconciling goods received against purchase orders and booking onto the stock control system
• Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure core product range is “always available” and in stock
• Review and action aged stock reports to reduce levels by selling or returning to supplier
• Develop daily, weekly and monthly reports to provide information on inventory performance
• Conduct a rolling review of branch processes, to drive continuous improvement
• Plan, organize and lead rolling and annual stock take audits
• Support sales team to ensure the branch delivers on sales targets and excellent levels of customer service
