Key responsibilities will include…
- Regulating the warehouse stock and inventory
- Organising and motivating the warehouse team
- Dealing with all supplier goods in and returns
- Off-loading and loading supplier and customer distribution vehicles
- Cultivating and assisting the Health and Safety ethos
The successful applicants will have adept organisational skills with planning and time management processes enabling work under pressure and in busy times. Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role is vital. A knowledge of distribution would be essential for this position, preferably from within an ironmongery/builders’ merchant environment.
