Feed Mill Quality Operative
As a Feed Mill Quality Operative, you will assist the Quality Manager in checking and reporting on Product & Systems quality in order to ensure product consistency and integrity.
You will complete duties associated with sample preparation, inspection, testing and storage, use NIR for material testing and collate results to generate reports and transfer data. You will also complete calibration on equipment located within the lab, ensure any lab related stocks are controlled and ordered as necessary and oversee the cleaning of laboratory equipment. Within this role you will log customer complaints and any non-conformances and be expected to maintain all relevant records. You must also be familiar with and comply with test procedures and health and safety procedures.
As a Feed Mill Quality Operative, you will be working in a small team with minimal supervision, therefore the ideal candidate will be able to use their initiative and be a team-player. You will be able to work under pressure, and keen to learn and develop new skills as the successful applicant will also be expected to undertake any training/development as required.
It is essential that you are educated to secondary level, with grade C or above in Math and English GCSE. You must have proficient use of IT, good communication skills and relevant experience of accurate record keeping and attention to detail.
