We are looking for a Digital Asset Management Content Administrator to join us on a 3 month fixed term contract. The role will work under the guidance of the Operations Director to provide administration of the DAM system from backend admin to upload of assets, metadata coding and permissions.

SHOW US HOW IT’S DONE

• Take responsibility for assigning appropriate metadata for assets to ensure accurate usage rights

• Manage the Digital Asset system and facilitate the uploading of assets as well as maintaining and upgrading the system

• Register internal and external users to the Digital Asset Management system based on permissions

• Design and implement taxonomy and metadata management strategies following industry best practices

• Perform ingesting, organising, general asset maintenance and management, as well as associated issue management, and curating daily in the digital asset management system

• Maintain and contribute to standards and governance by being abreast of industry best practices

WHO YOU ARE & WHAT YOU HAVE

• Experience with asset curation, with at least 2 years’ experience in DAM administration or in a related field

• Strong knowledge of DAM, ADA, metadata taxonomy principles and concepts for assets and digital content

• Solid knowledge of web publishing and content management systems best practices/standards

• Solid knowledge of media Digital Rights Management (DRM)

• Sound experience in data governance, standards and process development

• Well organized and highly structured individual, with ability to give attention to detail

• Profound project management skills

• Ability to develop strong partnerships and build consensus; equally capable at working independently
