Site Services Technician

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimising a range of systems, including steam generation and distribution, water and effluent treatment, compressed air, refrigeration plant, heat pumps, and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems. You will take ownership of both preventative and reactive maintenance activities, helping to minimise downtime and ensure high standards of safety, compliance, and performance across all site services. Working closely with operations, the wider engineering team, and external contractors, you will support day-to-day operations while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, driving reliability, efficiency, and cost performance across the site. The job covers all aspects of our liquid processing operations, including milk reception, liquid despatch, water management, process control (including SCADA), quality assurance and plant cleaning-in-place (CIP). You will work closely with the Liquid processing shift manager to learn and understand the production process. The working pattern associated with this role is 3 on 3 off 12-hour day shift. This role may include holiday/absence cover across differing shift patterns.
